Terms of Service

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the footfoot platform, available at https://www.footfoot.co (the "Service"), operated by IKKI, a French simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder (SASU) with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 979 951 340, whose registered office is located at 117 rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris, France ("IKKI" or the "Publisher"). Creating an account and using the Service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in whole or in part, you must not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service — Free skill-based game

Footfoot is a free skill-based game based on predicting football match scores. The Service is neither a gambling service nor a sports betting service within the meaning of articles L.320-1 et seq. of the French Code de la sécurité intérieure or law n°2010-476 of 12 May 2010: no real-money winnings are distributed to users and no monetary stake is required to participate. Players compete based on their forecasting skills. The platform does not hold an ANJ licence or any gambling operator licence, as such authorisations are not required for this type of service.

3. Eligibility and registration

Registration is open to individuals aged 16 or older. Paid purchases (Battle Pass, subscription, cosmetics) are reserved for users of legal age (18+) or those with a legal guardian's consent. Users warrant the accuracy of the information provided at sign-up, agree to keep a single account and to safeguard their credentials. Any identity fraud or multi-accounting will result in immediate suspension.

4. How the game works

In each round, the user is given 1000 virtual betting points to distribute across selected matches. The scoring system rewards accuracy (exact score, near-miss, correct outcome) and the contrarian nature of the prediction. Top forecasters appear on leaderboards (round, contest, season) and earn rewards in the form of FootCoins, badges and cosmetics. Leaderboards are calculated automatically and their results are final.

5. FootCoins — Non-convertible virtual currency

FootCoins ("FC") are an in-Service virtual currency, awarded for free (game rewards, achievements, daily rewards, referrals). FootCoins have NO monetary value, cannot be converted, exchanged, sold or transferred for real money, cannot be transferred to another user, and cannot be refunded. They may only be used inside the Service to unlock virtual content (avatars, themes, animations, early access). If the Service or the account is closed, any remaining FootCoins are permanently forfeited without compensation.

6. Paid purchases

footfoot is currently 100% free. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no player-side monetisation. Should the platform introduce paid content in the future (cosmetics, subscription), these terms will be updated and users will be notified.

7. Referral programme and advertising

The referral programme lets users earn free FootCoins by inviting new players. FootCoins earned this way are subject to section 5. Footfoot may display advertising, including rewarded video ads served by third-party partners. No identifying personal data is shared for advertising purposes without prior consent. Footfoot may enter into commercial partnerships and display sponsored content, clearly identified as such.

8. User conduct

Users agree to use the Service in good faith and in particular: not to create multiple accounts, not to use bots, scripts or automation, not to attempt to manipulate the scoring system or leaderboards, to respect other users in chat and contest features, not to share unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise improper content, not to compromise the security of the Service. Any breach will result in immediate suspension without notice or refund.

9. Intellectual property

All elements of the Service (footfoot brand, logos, visual identity, source code, design, text, illustrations, animations) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of footfoot or its partners. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation is prohibited. Sports data and results are provided by third-party partners (notably Football-Data.org) and remain their property.

10. Suspension and termination

Users may delete their account at any time from their settings. Deletion entails permanent loss of FootCoins, badges, achievements and history. Footfoot may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of the Terms, fraud, harmful behaviour or prolonged inactivity (24 months). In the event of termination for cause, no refund is owed, including for paid purchases not yet consumed.

11. Availability and limitation of liability

Footfoot endeavours to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is". Footfoot shall not be liable for service interruptions, data losses, errors in third-party sports data, or indirect damages suffered by the user. To the extent permitted by law, Footfoot's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the user during the previous 12 months.

12. Personal data

Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is available separately and forms an integral part of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Terms

Footfoot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of substantial changes by email or in-app notification at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after this period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Otherwise, the user may terminate their account.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, and after a prior attempt at free consumer mediation, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform free of charge: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
