Zinedine Zidane not on Bayern Munich’s shortlist of managers...should he be?

Bayern Munich have had quite the headache with the managerial position in recent years. A pre-emptive sacking of Julian Nagelsmann and Tuchel’s appointment has been dreadful so far. Now with Tuchel leaving in the summer, and no replacement confirmed, Bayern Munich are in a difficult situation. The latest reports indicate that the club is engaged in talks with Nagelsmann, but should he be the top candidate?
One of the other rumored, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, is looking highly unlikely at this point.
There were reports that Zidane was being discussed initially after Tuchel’s announcement but in recent weeks the Frenchman is not being discussed. Zidane was one of the best coaches in the world with Real Madrid winning Champions League titles like nothing. Now, Zidane has been out of work for a while but could certainly still contribute to a club like Bayern Munich.
However, reporter Florian Plettenberg has recently stated that Zidane is now longer on the list with Bayern Munich’s priority shifted to Julian Nagelsmann. With Xabi Alonso staying at Bayer Leverkusen, options are shrinking. If Nagelsmann extends with the DFB, Bayern might have to re-explore their options, but Zidane isn’t a bad worst-case scenario.
Should Zidane be an option for Bayern Munich if things fall through with Nagelsmann?
