Report: If opportunity knocks, Bayern Munich will unload coffers for chance to get Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz

According to a report from kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is champing at the bit to get Bayer Leverkusen superstar Florian Wirtz.
Bayern Munich is reportedly planning a future, which features Wirtz and would be willing to lay down a massive amount of cash to get him this summer. However, it is doubtful that the Germany international wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen as early this summer. The summer of 2025 seems like a more reasonable timeframe:
Florian Wirtz plays an important role in Bayern’s medium to long-term plans. Should he become available this summer, the club would be willing to spend big to bring him to Munich. However, the chances for this summer are slim, rather 2025.
Wirtz is looking — and playing — every bit like the star he has been touted to be. Will Bayern Munich be able to outgun FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool FC, and other clubs who have been linked to Wirtz? Looking for more thoughts and analysis on Bayern Munich’s big draw with Arsenal FC in the Champions League, the iffy futures of Joshua Kimmich, Alphonso Davies, and Dayot Upamecano, and some admiration for the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm?
