German transfer guru shares details of Bayern Munich's interest in Leeds United star

Leeds United have seen Gray emerge as one of their key players this season. He was long tipped for a bright future during his time as an academy regular but he’s broken into the first-team under Daniel Farke and hasn’t looked back since. The 18-year-old has chipped in with a goal and two assists across his 46 games and has unsurprisingly caught the eyes of potential admirers in the process. Now, claims of interest from Bayern Munich have emerged. Sky Sports Germany reporter and transfer guru Florian Plettenberg has said on X that the Bundesliga giants are ‘monitoring the development’ of Gray at Leeds United. At this stage though, there interest is ‘not a hot topic’, nor has there been contact between Bayern and his representatives.
🔴 Rumors about Archie #Gray and FC Bayern: The club is monitoring the development of the 18 y/o top-talent from Leeds. Bayern knows about his quality. However, it's not a hot topic. There is also no contact between Bayern and the player's management. Elite clubs have been linked with all season and now that the summer transfer window is rolling around, expect more rumours to circulate. These Bayern links come from a reliable source, so it will be intriguing to see if their interest in Gray develops into anything more serious in future transfer windows. Leeds United will be determined to retain the services of their teenage star and winning promotion to the Championship would go a lot way to aiding their efforts to keep him. That said, it would be a surprise if the academy graduate actively looks to move on regardless of how the season ends. There’s a close bond between him, the club and his family and while he’s playing regularly, he’s just going to get better and better. Elite clubs like Bayern could prove tempting, but it remains to be see how their interest develops. Archie Gray bayern Bayern Munich Leeds United Transfers
