Joshua Kimmich, Julian Brandt lead Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund into the Champions League semifinals

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are both in the Champions League semifinals, and all Premier League teams are now out.
A pair of Germany men’s national team stars powered the way for their respective clubs this week and made the list for UCL player of the week — alongside FC Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé and Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.
Kimmich scored the decisive goal in a closely-fought second leg against Arsenal. Brandt, meanwhile, pulled the strings from start to finish for BVB and nabbed the first goal in a wild finish against Atlético Madrid. It could be shaping up to be an all-German Final — as it was in 2013 when the Bavarians defeated their rivals 2-1. But for that to happen, Bayern will still have to get past Real Madrid and Dortmund will need to beat Paris Saint-Germain.
