Determined Leroy Sané to be held out when Bayern Munich plays Union Berlin

According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). Leroy Sané is in an extreme amount of pain:
Leroy Sané is said to have said internally before the game against Arsenal he would play ‘with one leg’ if needed. Sané is in so much pain and can’t even sit in the player’s lounge after games because of the pain. The player is expected to be given a rest in the coming Bundesliga games against Union and Frankfurt and will try to be ready for Real Madrid and for the Euros in the summer. Sané doesn’t complain about the pain and just does his job on the pitch when he’s needed especially with the injury situation of the team.
Despite his willingness to risk it all against Arsenal FC in the Champions League, Bayern Munich will prevent the star winger from doing that against Union Berlin this weekend per Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Bayern have made the decision to completely rest Leroy Sané from training and games in the coming days so he can recover and not risk an even worse injury ahead of the semifinal against Real Madrid. That means Sané, Gnabry and Coman are all out of Saturday’s game against Union Berlin. Looking for more thoughts and analysis on Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga match against Union Berlin?
