Nothing concrete between Bayern Munich and Aston Villa coach Unai Emery just yet...and now we know why

Bayern Munich trundle on with their managerial search as their expansive list continues to dwindle. New names come in but are almost immediately refuted by other sources and journalists; just contradictions all around. What no one can contradict though is that the Bavarians have not spoken to one of their candidates.
According to kicker via FussballTransfers (corroborated by InsideFutbol), the Rekordmeister have not approached Unai Emery and Aston Villa to offer the Spaniard the coaching gig. No surprise to see the 52-year-old on the radar of top clubs because his Villa side is one exciting team to watch. In fact, Villa are the only English side left in Europe’s top three competitions (Champions League, Europa League [where Villa is], and Europa Conference League).

At time of writing, Bayern’s options are former Manchester United coach Ralf Rangnick, a return for Hansi Flick, or keeping Thomas Tuchel beyond summer 2024.
