Report: Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz a concrete target for Bayern Munich in 2025

According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich will be all over Bayer Leverkusen ace in the summer of 2025...but the Bavarians will not be alone.
Among the other clubs interested in Wirtz are Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool FC:

Florian #Wirtz, top target for FC Bayern in 2025 as he will stay in Leverkusen for one more season!
Uli Hoeneß has spoken about Wirtz, told @faznet: “We can spend 100 million euros once for a Harry Kane, maybe once more for a German player, but not four or five times.“
➡️ Bayern bosses with Hoeneß included, they all want him. All big clubs are still in (Real Madrid, ManCity, Liverpool …)
➡️ But: If Bayern can really afford the transfer fee, they have good chances to sign him next year as the 20 y/o and his family see Bayern as an intermediate step before a move abroad, which he plans for later.

Of course, actually paying the massive amount of cash that it will require to get Wirtz is something that Bayern Munich will have to come to grips with. That could be a palatable situation or one that could cause some consternation for the club’s coffers.
Either way, Bayern Munich would be eager to have a talent like Wirtz on its roster.
