Alles in Rot! Thomas Müller rallies Bayern Munich fans to wear all red for Real Madrid match

The all-important second leg of the Champions League semi-finals between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid is almost upon us, and it is everything to play for, for both sides. The first leg at the Allianz Arena finished level at 2-2 in what could arguably be described as one of Bayern’s best performances in what’s largely been an underwhelming, disappointing season domestically. On the other side of the coin, Real Madrid wrapped up the La Liga title last weekend, while Carlo Ancelotti was able to heavily rotate his side to give his key players rest ahead of the Bayern match. Thomas Tuchel was not able to do that anywhere near to the same extent for Bayern’s 3-1 loss at VfB Stuttgart.
Ahead of the season-defining match for Bayern at the Santiago Bernabéu, Thomas Müller has taken to social media to put out a rallying cry for Bayern’s travelling contingent of fans in Madrid to deck themselves out in red for the match. Presumably, this request extends far beyond the reaches of those lucky enough to be in attendance at the match in Madrid, but to all Bayern fans all over the world. Dear FC Bayern fans. Dear Südkurve. The first leg was really good. Really good. But we need you all again for the second leg. All in. Red and the same energy again. And if it’s possible, give even more. Let’s go! Packmas together!
The video message from Bayern’s Raumdeuter follows up on a video from the club that was put out ahead of the first leg that called for the fans to deck out the Allianz Arena in all red. The attending fans produced one of the best atmospheres of the season and started off the occasion with a remarkably beautiful tifo that paid homage to the late Franz Beckenbauer.
