Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea, Premier League: Post-match reaction, ratings

Chelsea began the game in the most horrendous fashion imaginable, conceding inside of five minutes and playing like a bunch of dudes who have never played organized professional football in their lives.
But Arsenal failed to punish our ineptitude, and while the defense and midfield remained largely a sieve, we started to pose a few questions of our own. Unfortunately, Nicolas Jackson’s one-man attack resulted only in a lucky deflection hitting the post.
The rest of the Blues eventually woke up, too, but Marc Cucurella opted not to shoot on an empty net, and Enzo Fernández and Axel Disasi missed by inches. Jackson had another chance as well, but mistimed his header.
At the other end, Petrovic made a couple stellar saves to keep us in the game, before a chippy end to the half saw multiple yellow cards handed out to both teams.
The second half began just like the first, with Chelsea all at sea and Arsenal taking advantage in a corner scramble seven minutes in. Ben White with the goal this time, to make it 2-0. Five minutes later, Kai Havertz then settled the game for good as the defense fell asleep again.
And then things got really ugly.
Carefree.

Fair bit of rotation from the weekend, with Gilchrist, Disasi, Badiashile, and Mudryk coming in to the side; Palmer and Gusto missing out through illness and injury, and Silva and Chalobah put on the bench for no obvious reason.
Next up: Villa away on Saturday
