Chelsea 5-0 West Ham United, Player Ratings: Peak Poch Era

Easily our highest rated game of the season overall, with all but one starter rated at least a 7 and six starters up in the 8s. Any of the six would’ve been well deserving of the Man of the Match award, but it’s Nico who takes it with his two goals and one assist.
Much has been made of his profligacy — only Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Darwin Núñez have underperformed their xG by a greater margin this season — but he has 8 goals and 4 assists in all competitions since coming back from the Africa Cup of Nations in February, and 16+6 for the season — both career highs.
And he will, presumably, only get better from here.
2. NONI MADUEKE (8.5)
Noni’s also finishing the campaign in strong fashion, just like last year, and he’s now started seven in a row in all competitions after starting just nine all season prior to this run. He’s now just one off his career high for goals scored (9), set twice with PSV in a rather less difficult league than the Premier League.
3. CONOR GALLAGHER (8.3)
Operating in a deeper role, Gallagher has produced some of his best performances all season, solidifying his grip on third place in the overall Player of the Season race (behind Cole Palmer and Đorđe Petrović). Contract now! vs. WEST HAM (PL, H, W 5-0)
