Borussia Dortmund’s 2024/25 Home Kit Leaked
Those of us who have been gifted the privilege of sight have spent this season having that gift spoiled by Borussia Dortmund’s grotesque home kit for the 2023/24 season. As such, we have been counting down the days to the release of a new kit that will hopefully not be a terrible mess.
Several new Puma kits have been leaked after they dropped on the official Puma online store in China. This includes the new BVB home kit for the 2024/25 season. We are almost free.
The initial reaction by BVB fans seems pretty positive, though it’s unclear if that is just an expression of relief as we near the end of a forgettable league season made worse by a grotesque home kit.
I don’t think I like this kit enough to want to invest in it, but I don’t hate it, and by now, I think it’s fair to say that this is a massive success for Puma kits. I’m still not a huge fan of the shade of yellow, and I would favor Puma going a little bolder in some of their design choices, but I think it is relatively clean nonetheless.
While my initial view is that these kits are just fine, I could also see them growing on me, and if they look better worn, I could be talked into buying one. Maybe.
The new home kit is usually the first to drop and is typically worn on the season’s final game, so we will likely see this kit rolled out properly soon. We will probably have to wait a while to see the away kit and the cup kit, but if Puma’s track record is anything to go by, one okay home kit means these will have to be disgusting anyway.
