AC Milan Thump Lecce 3-0 As Pioli’s New Attack Flourishes As Pulisic Records His Best Ever Campaign

AC Milan obliterated Lecce at the San Siro yesterday in a 3-0 victory as a thrilling trio started up front with Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze all starting together. The Rossoneri were decisive taking a 2-0 in the first half and Lecce going a man down.
Pulisic opened the scoring with a lovely power shot from the edge of the box after Chukwueze dribbled in from the wing and laid off the pass for him. Olivier Giroud doubled our lead with the slightest of headers to redirect Yacine Adli’s corner for the second. Chukwueze was kicked in the chest drawing the red card in the 44th minute.
Pulisic’s goal marked a big achievement for the American as he scored 20 league goals in a single campaign for the first time ever and has his best ever goal contributions return with 13 goals and 8 assists across all competitions to this point.
Leao put the icing on the cake just over 10 minutes into the second half as Adli dispatched a tidy pass from within our half to set up Leao on the trot breaking all the lines before the Portuguese tucked it under the keeper for the third of the day.
Milan keep control of second place and go into the UEL knock outs with lots of confidence.
