AC Milan Need To Rebuild Confidence Against Relegation Placed Sassuolo Despite Poor Record
AC Milan will face off with Sassuolo on the road today in an early kick off. Stefano Pioli and Milan will be reeling from their 1-0 loss to AS Roma in the Europa League just three days ago.
Pioli is going for an almost full rotation with Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders the exceptions. Samuel Chukwueze and Yacine Adli will aim to make an impression given their good cameos in the previous loss but remain out of the starting line up.
Sassuolo sit in the relegation zone with 25 points in 31 games but always seem to make an issue for us. Milan would love to be the ones to send the Neroverdi down to Serie B given all the upsets over the past decade or so.
Milan are five points above Juventus and have this game in hand hence the side will be eager to hold on to that advantage and ensure Inter Milan do not get the second star at the San Siro.
