Players to Watch
Alessandro Florenzi
The right back will be playing on the opposite wing covering for the suspended Theo Hernandez. He will be facing a pacey Cambiasso and a brute Rabiot barrelling down that side of the pitch. Florenzi needs to help cover defensively but also spur the attack forward pushing Leao further up into space as we have looked flat this month and the lack of creativity is hurting our ability to score.
Dusan Vlahovic
The Serbia international has 17 goals and 3 assist in all competitions. He has been inconsistent but usually scores in bursts, he managed to get the equaliser for Juventus against Cagliari last week hence is primed to score again. He will partner with Chiesa up front and will want to take advantage of Milan’s severely decimated defence with Thiaw and Gabbia holding the line.
Yacine Adli
The midfielder is one of the only bright spots in an otherwise depressing month. His passing is great and his ability to break the lines has been crucial to launching attacks and delviering assists. Adli has grown a lot this season and although not the best holding midfielder, he has a combination of good skill and awareness but most of all lots of heart. He is a Milanista and shows it, he shares our frustration in bad moments but has shown resilience to take his chances and somewhat establish himself. This is a big game to deliver in and build some hype around yourself if you ca get a goal or put in a top tier performance.
