Across the Romaverse #172: Roma Falls to Bologna, Congested Schedule Ahead

In the midst of a hellish stretch that includes both the Europa League quarter and semi-finals and four consecutive matches against European contenders in Serie A, it’s understandable that the Giallorossi would come out flat for at least one of these matches. Unfortunately for Daniele De Rossi’s side, Monday's six-pointer against Bologna was probably the worst match of his young tenure to date.
With the Giallorossi getting beaten by Bologna at the Olimpico on Monday, the top four is likely a forgone conclusion, with the Rossoblu now clearly ahead of Roma. However, all is not lost, as the Giallorossi still have plenty to play for: 5th place and a spot in the Champions League remains up for grabs, and Roma are within reach of the Europa League title.
In this episode, we discuss:

The defeat to Bologna
Serie A’s scheduling nightmare with Udinese
The Europa League semis against Leverkusen
the approach against Napoli
